XIII INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FOREIGN LANGUAGES, COMMUNICATION AND CULTURE (WEFLA)

XIII INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON CANADIAN STUDIES (SECAN)

April 24-26 2019, Holguin, Cuba

Issues a call for proposals on the following topics:

Accepted formats:

Plenary conferences are of 45 minutes lenght.

Papers are of 20 minutes length, followed by a 10-minutes question period.

Symposiums are of 60 minutes length and should include 3 to 4 participants.

Pre- or post-conference workshops are of 4 hours length.

Presentations can be given in Spanish, English, French, or Portuguese. Interpretation from Spanish to English will be provided in plenary sessions only.

How to submit a proposal:

You can submit the proposal online at the Submission and Registration tab of this website or print the completed form from the same tab and send it to wefla2019@sciencesconf.org or to vpaez@uho.edu.cu. 

For oral presentations and for workshops, abstracts of up to 250 words should include problem, objectives, methodology and research results as well as 3 to 5 keywords.

For symposiums, in addition to abstracts of 250 words for each communication, the symposium organizer is required to submit a text of no more than 250 words describing the objectives of the symposium and the links between its communications.

Conference Proceedings:

Papers of approximatively 6 pages will be submitted to a blind review process using standardized criteria for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings.  It is not mandatory to submit a paper for publication. Formating: Arial 10 points, 1.5 space, margins: upper and bottom 2.5 cm.,  right and left 3 cm. References following APA 2016.
